finally got the time and some money to put a good highend 3d workstation/rendering. it will be used for particle stimulations, HD compositing apart from just rendering. here is my specs which i've so far put together. still need advice on heat sink, case, power supply etc
2x Intel Xeon X5650 Westmere 2.66GHz 12MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 95W Six-Core Server processor
