3D Stuff, with 3930k

CPU : i7 3930k 3.2GHz 6 Core HT

Fan : Noctua NH-D14

Motherboard : Asus Sabertooth x79

Memory : Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600MHZ DD3 32GO (4x8)

Video Card : 2 Choice, stick with my Radeon 6850 and upgrade later or buy a Nvidia 660 Ti

Case : Cooler Master HAF XM

Power Supply : 850W ATX Corsair AX Mod

Got my own Hard drive/dvd player

I do 3D stuff, graphic, render etc... Also play a bit video games.
My objectif is get something very solid, good reliability, i want to Overclock the CPU too, not too much, just a little bit

Have a question, do i need to buy Windows 7 Professional or i can stick with the Home Premium for the Max limit Memory (16go) When i plan to have 32go.

If you specify your budget I'd be able to help you more... Looks pretty good maybe there's a few things that I would change but depends on your budget .

What software for 3d are you planning to use? some is very Nvidia optimized while others allow GPU acceleration on either AMD or Nvidia.

And no sense getting 32gb ram if you are going to use a OS that limits it at 16gb.

For rendering and editing stuff I would recommend an Nvidia card majorly because of the cuda core really helps in programs like photoshop and things of that genre...

I'm gonna buy windows Pro, i can't find out a way to by pass the 16gb limit of home premium

My budget, is around 2000, but it's mainly try to get the best performance/quality for the price.

All the system was built with the cpu i7 3930k in mind.

I use 3ds Max/After Effect/Photoshop, those are the 3 main soft.
I always had a ATI card, but with all those new technology in software, i will have to go with Nvidia, i'm realy curious to see how much it help with the cuda stuff.

I worry about the memory i choose, not sure if 1600mhz is enough for little clocking (?)

The rampage just because I have really good experience with it and I mean come on its Asus aha also I like how it overclocks I've always have had better results with this board. Yea I would go for the 1866MHz memory or even higher!
