Hello, I am building a new gaming rig soon and was considering, should I get a 3d monitor or a touch screen monitor ?. Personally it does not bother me playing games in 2d, (although 3d TV and the odd bit of gaming in it might be fun).
alternatively I could go for a touch screen, which I think would be good fun and a bit more useful, but not enough to make me give up on 3d.
so what would you guys do, go 3d or touch screen?
(6870 or 6950 graphics so both supported)
thanks :)

I definitely would not want a touch screen monitor. I don't like fingerprints on my screen. However, if you are using a specifics programs that use a touch screen then I guess that's different.

As for 3D games, I don't care. But if you want to play 3D games now, then you need to go with nVidia. The Radeon HD 6xxx series is 3D capable, but there are no drivers yet to the best of my knowledge. AMD is not developing 3D drivers for thier ards, they are instead relying on 3rd party developers instead.
