3D Vision Configuration

Hi,

I would really appreciate if anyone tells me what do I need to start with the 3D gaming. I have a Benq XL2430T monitor and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 graphic card. What is left for me to do I guess is to buy the 3d glasses. I only can't seem to find an answer for these two questions I would need help with:

1. Are both Nvidia 3D Vision and Nvidia 3D Vision 2 supported by my current hardware(monitor)?
2. And the other question is whether I need the entire kit with the IR transmitter or only the glasses?

first off, as far as i know, if your monitor supports 3d vision, it will say so right in the box, they will advertise is for sure. if you did not see it, most likely it does not support it. not every monitor can do 3d vision. did a quick a look, and no
