does that mean i can watch 3d movies on it ?

the short answer is YES!

the long answer is that 3D movies actually have very little to do with the workload of your graphics card, as everything has already been pre-processed and written into the movie you're buying. anyway, be sure to have your 3D glasses

YES you need a 3D monitor Plus the 3D glasses. Most monitor package a pair of glasses.
