WTF? Are not all apple products of the same generation the same? What would be the point in comparing an iPhone 5 with an IPhone 5? You cannot over clock them or put in difrent components, so what is the point of this?

lol, this will finally demonstrate how Apple is making up for mediocre hardware with software optimizations

I love how the Nexus 7 (2013) is faster than the iPad4 at less than half the price

@Alex Altu for numbers. Just like in CPU market when games usually run about the same on all top CPU be it Intel or AMD, Benchmarks like this give useless numbers(they don`t represent real world application since you won`t be doing your work in 3DMark, or your gaming in 3DMark)...so basicaly is only for the numbers. And 1% to fuel the war between Galaxy # vs IPhone # vs HTC # etc.

That would be bad ass! I would love to see Corsair, Antec, EVGA, and Cooler Master start making "enthusiast" performance phone cases.

Um... Not sure what rock you guys are living on but it allows people to benchmark the graphics using the same benchmark across Android and iOS.

I wonder if this is like the political tactic Republicans used during the Iraq war, if we say something BS enough times people will believe us - example: IRAQ has WMDs and Chemical Weapons...

Apple's iPad4 has a GPU that eats my Nexus 7 2013 for lunch. There is no tablet currently out that exceeds that performance and the iPad 5 is about to launch with even more GPU power in a month or two.

Apple has consistently put the best GPUs in their devices and rocks the benchmarks. The fact that you're even making that comment makes me wonder if you even know that the Adreno 320 in my Nexus 7 hits about 2/3 the performance of an iPad 4. It also costs less but I'm not sure where you're coming up with:

"I love how the Nexus 7 (2013) is faster than the iPad4 at less than half the price"

Just look at this benchmark from Anandtech: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7231/the-nexus-7-2013-review/3

Our CPU is faster but this article is about graphics benchmarks and while it's close, it's also running a screen 1920-by-1200 vs 2048-by-1536

While I would kick you if you tried to take my Nexus 7, I'm also living in reality, bang for buck it's fast but it's not as fast GPU wise and when the iPad 5 comes, that margin will grow.

P.S. if they are making the UI work so smoothly with inferior hardware then KUDOS to them for being programming geniuses, I wish someone would do that on the Android side, my 2012 Nexus 7 was a laggy b*tch from day one.

Beat the iPad 4 on CPU benchmarks, no Sh*t it's faster!

...but not on the GPU, which is the point of this article: Cross platform GPU benchmark.

Basemark and GL Bench (graphics benchmarks) the iPad beats the N7, which graphics benchmarks did it win?

Now that we have 3DMark you can test and post the results, then we can compare apples to apples (the purpose of the article).
