[SOLVED] 3DMark Timespy results sgnigicantly lower when Afterburner is running

Is it normal for 3DMark benchmark scores to be lower with Afterburner running?

Afterburner not running (GPU score: 17 806 )
with Afterburner running (GPU score: 15 768 )

I have an RTX 3080 and i7-9700KF.

Also, with Afterburner running frame rates are capped to 100FPS during the tests.

You need to remove that FPS cap. It's in Rivaturner (usually gets installed alongside Afterburner).
If it's not capped there then you may be hitting some other limit.
