I got 2500 points using 3DMark2001 with my new computer, is that good? My setup is AMD 1G, NVidia Geforce2 Pro using the asus KT133A motherboard with 256MB ram, if that's low what could I do to increase it. Would the detonator 3 help? I'm using the drivers I got with the parts should I download the newer ones?

I assume you mean 3DMark2001 as in your subject. 2500 is not a very good score. I scored 2397 with my Geforce256 SDR. (It is overclocked). You should get 3000+ without overclocking.

Try the Detonator 4, version 10.80 drivers. Get them at http://www.nvguru.com. Update your Via 4-in-1 drivers to 4.29, available at http://www.viatech.com. When you install these make sure you activate Turbo mode for AGP. This will allow AGP to run at 2X or 4X (controlled by the BIOS setting) and not 1X.

Another thing to do is make sure your video card is not sharing an IRQ. (PCI Holding is OK).

I got more than 2500 points in 3dmark 2001 with my ATI Radeon AIW 32MB, at 166Mhz (non-OC-ed), I'm sure GF2Pro should get a fair bit more...
