3DO's Might & Magic VI

While Might&Magic IX works on XP, Might&Magic VI fails with some
error message about Mgs or Msg file. Even though Dungeon Seige,
by comparison, is in a league by itself, I miss potting Dragons before
breakfast in Dragonsand.
Is there some way to make this game work in XP???

I have same problem with my new 3.4 Ghz - XP if some one solves this please
let me know also. M&M VI is the greatest of the older games.
