3dware escalade replacement raid card

So, my 3d ware escalade 8 series recently began throwing off smoke and sparks. Presumably, it's dead. So I was wondering; is there any modern replacement for a raid card like that? It had 8 ports, so I would like a newer one with 8 or more connections. Sata or ide, either is fine.
