3GB R9 280 vs 2GB R9 285

Hello,
I'm building my new gaming rig. I know 285 works better than 280 but games like GTA V and Shadow of Mordor requires more than 2 GB vram. So here is my question. Will 280 better with its vram than 285? Sorry for bad English.

280 will giver you a better experience because of the vram. Especially on gta v. You need that 3gb of vram if you want to play with some higher settings. I would just get the r9 380 because why not. If you can find a r9 280 for cheap I would say go with that. You can find gigabyte, msi, 280s for around $150 on craigslist. If not cheaper
