3K V 4K display panel

I'm considering buying the MSI GS60 and it comes in two display panel - the 3k and the 4k.

I want to become a professional digital artist and I am wondering in the long run which display panel I should get. I realise the 3K uses less battery life than the 4K, so from anyone's experience, how did they fair as a someone who digitallly draw with these panels? I am considering it using it for college too. Do the panels make any difference?

Go with 1080. Youll literally need a magnifying glass if the apps you use dont support DPI scaling, at anything higher than that.
