I would do something like this to wait for the new graphics card and sell the 1650 super for 100-140 dollars a couple weeks before the release of the new graphics cards. Also the 970 pro is just as fast as the 970 EVO Plus while being much more exspensive. I added a 2TB 970 evo plus instead of the 1TB 970 pro for 20-30 dollars more.

I highly recommend holding off the purchase. New GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD are just 2-3 months away. They are said to have at-least 50-60% performance improvement over current gen GPUs. That is huge. Ray-tracing performance on its own is said to be at-least twice of what it previously was. This means that you will get extremely low FPS hit even with Ray-tracing enabled at high settings compared to current gen RTX2000 series GPUs. AMD is also going to release Ryzen 4000 seris CPUs.

All this is worth waiting for. Specially if spending that high I recommend getting PC with latest hardware specs and not two year old GPU or year old CPU.

Thanks for the heads up on the GPU guys
I ll have 30 days to return anyways so I ll just return it to newegg on the last day of return and get the new 3080 then. If i have to return a few days or weeks before I get the new card, so be it. I think it ll be worth the wait.

I should also think about the EVO as well instead of the PRO
Another concern I have is the motherboard.
my mobo is white in color to match the white overall look but it doesnt come with bluetooth so I ordered a bluetooth card for about 40 bucks (dont want a dongle) which raises my price to $300ish on the motherboard
Asus ROG x570 E gaming board does come with wifi and bluetooth and its $299 also.

the question is, is it a better motherboard and am I losing a lot on the performance because I am settling on the white colored prime x570?
