[SOLVED] 3M Magnet Sticker on an STLABS S-350+SSD Enclosure

I bought an STLABS S-350 2.5 USB 3.0 Enclosure and installed an SSD inside it. I've installed Linux on the SSD and I want to use it on the go.
The enclosure refuses to stay in place and sometimes falls off the PC case due to the USB cables connecting it.

I was thinking of using a circular magnet sticker on it, so it stays in place while using it, but was wondering if it's a good idea? Will it damage the SSD drive or its' contents over time?

Solution
SSDs aren't affected by magnetism so you should be fine.

Here is some more info...

Sandisk claims that their products can withstand fields upto 5000 Gauss (SanDisk Proof).

Just how much is 5000 Gauss?
A refrigerator magnet is usually 50-100 Gauss.
Home-made railguns might work at 2000 Gauss.
MRI machines operate at 3 - 7 Tesla (1 Tesla being 10,000 Gauss).
You can make a safe guess that putting pretty much anything in an MRI scanner might break it.
