3rd GEN 3570k + z77 -or- 4th GEN 4570/4670 + b85

What the title says guys, I've been reading a lot on the forum and now I've come down to this.
What is the worth of getting a new gen?
With mild overclocking can I get better performance with the 3rd gen?
I won't be upgrading to a broadwell, but who's to say? anything can happen.

MSI Z77A G41/43/45 or something similar, sub $120 like gigabyte or asus,
ASUS B85M-G or msi b85m g41 or gigabyte b85m d3h

GTX 660
Vengeance 2 * 4GB
Corsair CX500M
NZXT tempest 410 elite

If you don't plan on upgrading until at least after broadwell, go with the z77 and 3570k. Haswell won't give you enough of a performance boost to justify the price difference for your needs.

Cooling isn't great in a prodigy( this is the case i chose) and i'll also save some cash buying b85+4570.
