[SOLVED] 3rd monitor for a Dell 7700 AIO

Bought this ttps://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/desktop-computers/inspiron-27-7000-all-in-one/spd/inspiron-27-7700-aio thinking I could power a third monitor via 2nd HDMI port. Purchased an adapter HGMI to VGA for the extra monitor. Both monitors work but the computer will not recognize a third monitor, either one but not both. Stumpded.

One of your HDMI ports is an INPUT, that lets you use the AIO as a monitor. So you only have one display OUTPUT in the form of the HDMI.

The Type-C USB port might carry a display signal, but they don't specify. USB-C to HDMI adapter cable might be worth a try.

You can certainly get a Dell docking station and plug multiple monitors into that for general use.

Might try calling Dell to see which dock they recommend.
