Question 3TB drive shows up as 2TB - even as GBT

Edit: My Bios is not UEFI, so that's most likely why. Consider this question closed.

I just got a 3TB HDD and plugged it in. Now in Disc Manager AND EaseUS Partition Manager it shows up as 2TB. It's already converted to a GBT drive and adding New Simple Volume does not let me choose more than 2TB either as the unallocated space shows 1 chunk of 2TB and it does not let me choose over that.

Could this be the problem?

It could be that your motherboard is too old to support drives larger then 2TB. Which motherboard do you have?
