I have no idea what i did but my 3tb hard drive is only showing as 2tb and in disk managment i cant add the rest . There is 700gb showing but i cant allocate it
First, can you go into your BIOS, and make sure that the boot manager files are all on your SSD?
Is there something that says system reserved in Disk Manager?
If so, you need to move that to another drive, as that's what lets your PC startup.
You have to convert it to GPT partitioning scheme.
In MBR mode only 2TB are accessible.
If your 3TB drive is also a boot drive, then this is a bit more complicated. After conversion to GPT your system will not boot without additional fixup manipulations.
