3TB HDD Internal Drive Noisy When In Screen Saver Mode

Hi

I have an odd problem with my storage drive , it works perfectly and is quiet when im using my compter normally but when the screen saver kicks in it starts getting quite noisy and sounds like its constantly writing while t should just be idle ?

Any ideas how to stop this apret from turning the screen saver off ? I like the drive apart from this one annoying problem.

Windows 11 64 bit but used to do it on Windows 10 64 bit too.

Look in the power options.
Turn off hard disk after.......set it to zero.
See if it makes a diff.
