3tb HDD replacement

My WD green 3tb recently died (luckily no really imlortant data was on that drive) and i was looking around at the different 3 tb hard drives which all get very mixed reviews. Even as an advanced user i am left a bit unsure about which drive to buy.

3tbs seem to have a bad track record. Try 2TB eg Seagate Barracuda, WD Black or Blue.

I've had excellent results with various 2TB drive but the only 3TB drives I've used are all seagates and those are approaching their 3rd birthday (still running fine) but I have the 1ch166 version of the drive which seems to be a bit rarer and possibly better made(?) (Chinese plant versus the Thailand plant) Beats me...

Blue Drive doesnt come in 2tb by the way.
