3TB Seagate ext hdd only showing 31gb

I have a Seagate 3TB external hard drive. I used the hard drive to download Windows 10 media for another pc. After doing so the properties say the hard drive has a capacity of 31gb. Addionally, the name is completely different. I tried to go back to a previous version but it stated no previous versions are available. Any suggestions?

Check in Disk management, it may be partitioned.

I believe you've converted the drive somehow. How does it appear under Disk Management?

You can use some partition recovery tool and see if you will be able to recover your partitions.
