3TB WD BLACK showing up in Device Manager but not Disk Management or BIOS!! HELP!!

My 3TB hard drive only shows up in the Device Manager and DOES NOT show up in the BIOS or Disk Management. I have no idea what to do. I recently built this PC so it can't be the components right? Everything else is working but my 3TB HDD. I tried plugging it in into a different SATA plug but nothing happens besides it disappearing in certain SATA plugs. I changed the SATA cable and same thing. I need help! This is my only storage besides my SSD (120GB) which is uses for boot up and important stuff. I need this to work. Please help! Thank you in advance!!

Hmm, for it to show some data about the drive (however there is a question mark by it in device manager), it makes me wonder (and I am being completely sincere) that maybe the SATA power is not plugged in or seated completely.

What are the other drivers that need to be installed?

Yes i did install motherboard drivers, I'll even redo it

I unplugged and replugged in and nothing same thing. Any other ideas?

Download yourself a Parted Magic boot disk, and then format it in there.

1) It's a Linux live disk. It won't save data onto the CD, but when you boot it up, you get SUPERB amounts of tools like Parted Magic (disk partitioning).
2) It is free. Download it from SourceForge.
3) It's one of the only ways you can use, in case you weren't lucky enough for it to format in Disk Management.

Will i still be able to use it as storage(My HDD)? If not ill just return this one and get a 2TB or 2.5TB which ever one would work.

Download, burn to disk, reboot computer and insert disk in, when computer boots up keep pressing whatever key goes into boot device menu, and select the CD ROM.

right click on the the drive in device management, property, see if there any error.
Also, in the bios, did you change any storage settings to get the SSD to connect?

I would said the drive is DOA, since you did said it not showing op on the bios either.

Did you try another connection on the motherboard?

Yea i tried like every port i could and nothing same thing, except in some it didn't show up at all. I even changed the cable I was using thinking it was that, but nope same thing.
