I'm planning to buy a new motherboard

And i want to put a 3rd gen of core i5 processor, to be exact the i5 3470. Will the motherboard support that processor?
It has the same socket but it supports 4th gen of the Intel i-series.
Also I am planning to put 8 gb of ram (1600 mhz) and the Sapphire AMD radeon r7 260x oc edition or Sapphire ATI PCX R7 265 DUAL-X, will it be a good pc for gaming?
