3x980ti sli + 4790k

looking for a new computer for gaming, will the 3 gtx 980 ti be bottlenecked by the 4790k when playing battlefield 4 and gta v?

No but if you are going with 3 980's the best CPU to get currently would be the i7 5930K on the X99 platform. They have more PCIE lanes than other i7 CPU's except the 5960X which is stupidly expensive.

With the scaling of 3 way that's not a very good idea, you will get very little performance increase over 2 way and unless your running a 4K resolution that's not even needed.
