Ok so as the title says, out of the 4gb ram I can only use 3.72 gb on Windows Professional 64 bits and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this (Windows says 290 MB ram are hardware reserved).
I'd like to point out that my Integrated graphics card is disabled (bios and etc.) but I do have some suspicions that my motherboard might be the culprit. It's one of those mobo's used on corporate computers that has some extra features like AMT, ASF (at least I think they're extra) Also, this happened only after I updated my BIOS. I have checked my mainboard and it fully supports all of my computer parts (including RAM frequencies and etc.).
I used to run my PC on a different (but similar) mobo and I had the same issue.
My question is: can I disable fome features (that I wouldn't need/use) in BIOS or windows so that I can get some of my RAM back ?
So far I've disabled the integrated graphics card and the intel management engine thing that ran AMT, ASF but got no results.
My specs are:
fujitsu D2587 (motherboard)
intel e7200 2.5ghz core 2 duo
4 gb ram
nvidia 9500 GT
