My 4+4 pin for appears to be burnt but I'm unsure. I was adding the h55 Corsair Hydro series water cooler and a fractal dynamics GP - 12 fan. And I had finished installing the water cooler and tested it and it worked correctly so I went on to install fan and upon completing installation and powering up the computer, on the top left-hand side near where the 4 + 4 pin connector goes there was a bright flash of light. My 4 + 4 connectors are a combination of black and yellow but some of the yellow ones appear to be much darker. I think the cmos might have been wiped because my hard drive is also wiped, totally dead.
Can add pictures, just need a website.
No visible damage besides cord discoloration.
