Hello,

I recently started having problems with my computer.

It has
MSI mobo P67A-GD65 (B3)
i5-3570K CPU
Radeon HD 7700 Series
8 GB RAM

I booted up my computer and it booted for about 5 seconds, then restarted itself. After it restarted it self, it beep 4 times and rebooted. It keeps rebooting until I cut the power. I've looked everywhere for a solution but nothing helped me. I would very much appreciate any help. Thanks.

As a follow-up question to this, if I were to buy another motherboard, which would you recommend?

Edited to include video.

Easiest thing to check would be taking out one stick of RAM at a time. Sometimes a bad stick could cause it. Also easy is clearing your CMOS.

More annoying thing to try is replacing the battery. It could end up being a sign of a bad board.

I've done the RAM trick and clearing my CMOS. Nothings worked. I looked up the 4 beeps and it says it can be a bad motherboard on the site. That's what I'm thinking but I don't know for sure.

By the off chance do you have another computer you could swap parts with? Seeing if everything runs fine with a swapped mobo would really be telling. I know it would be a pain to do, but I'm all about exhausting options before buying new parts. Sorry I couldn't be more help =/

Unfortunately, I don't. I have no way of testing it 🙁

I can't get to the bios. It doesn't get that far.

I opened an RMA with MSI as that's what I've found a lot of people did. Hopefully it'll be better.

Unfortunately, its out of warranty so they won't do it. I'll see if I can find someone to do a bios fix
