4 Cores and 4 threads on FX8320

So basically my amd FX8320 has had 8 cores and 8 threads, but recently 4 of them disappeared.
Task manager does not say that there are any parked cores.
Having 4 cores and 4 threads less is making my pc very slow.
Please help! Thanks

Check your BIOS, some may be turned off.

Check the bios and the boot settings in msconfig.

I changed some settings in msconfig earlier this week.
Today I found out that the problem came from that.
I had my cpu locked at 4 cores.
