Recently issue in which I started getting Windows warnings about potential memory loss or that programs are using too much memory and advising me to close them. Open my Computer properties:
8gb installed, 3.96 usable. As you can see I am currently using an APU, but not for graphics. I am using a GTX 660 for my GPU. Upon looking into the BIOS (ASRock BIOS - Mobo is ASRock FM2A75M-DGS) I didn't see any options for allocating memory that would allow my APU to be taking 4 gigs of RAM, but that could be my inexperience with this BIOS. This mobo has 2 RAM slots and upon swapping I booted up fine with the same issue of 1/2 of my ram being unusable. In Task Manager->Performance->Resource Monitor->Memory, I see that 4141Mb is Hardware Reserved. I updated my graphics drivers on the 29th.
That's about all the info I have. Any suggestions?
