The real question is what are you using it for? If you need more battery life stick with the 4 core. If you want it to replace a desktop than get the 6 core. Obviously, the 6 core will offer better performance in heavily threaded applications.

If you need more power I suggest building a desktop and then buying a cheaper laptop for mobile use. Desktops are built for power but laptops are built to save power.
