4 pin atx extender

So i upgraded my case and PSU 4pin cable is too short to power my CPU. I couldn˙t find 4pin female to 4 pin male extedner in my town so i bought 4-pin Molex female to 4-pin P4 male. Is it safe enough?

my components:
intel i3 4170, 3.7Ghz
asus b85m-g mobo
and 600w PSU

You should be fine though what is the make and model of the molex extension/adapter cable? What is the make and model of your PSU as well as it's age? Where are you located? I don't see why you couldn't get a hold of this cable.
