I just purchased some LED strips that connect w/ a 4 pin connection similar to a fan. From what I've read it's not a good idea to use a fan header from my mobo to power a LED strip. Is there an adaptor cable to plug this into one of my spare SATA power connections from my PSU. It seems most people use the 4 pin Molex connection for this, but I have a modular PSU and currently don't use any Molex cables, so I'd prefer to not have to add another cable just to power my LEDs when I have 3 open SATA power connections currently.
If this isn't clear enough or any more information needs to be provided please let me know and I will do my best.
Thanks in advance!

"similar to a fan." Do you mean exactly the same as a 4-pin fan header, or kind-of like? A link to the product page, or at least the make and model of the LED strips, would help.

OTOH, I've seen many 4-pin Molex-to-other adapters, but I've yet to see an SATA-power-to-other adapter. You might have to attach the Molex cable.
