4 pin molex rear fan

Hello, I'am trying to install the rear fan for my PC that has a 4 pin molex connection, but the thing is that my PSU is non-modular. I've searched around a bit, and people have said to just plug it in the 3 pin fan slots on the mobo. Would this be a viable thing to do and will it damage my motherboard in any way?

If it has a 4 pin Molex, plug it into one of the 4 pin Molex from the PSU. Or get an adapter and plug it into the MB CHA FAN header.
