4-pin molex to 5-pin molex? DVD drive to PSU by using adapter

Hello.
I'm trying to connect my new DVD drive Asus DRW-24d5mt to PSU.
DVD ports: 15-pin SATA + 7-pin SATA

But my PSU is ancient. It's Corsair HX520 and it only has 5-pin molex connectors.

Now, I am not sure if I can plug this adapter to 5-pin slot, leaving 1 pin empty, will it work? Does it not cause any problems? This is 15-pin SATA to 4-pin molex adapter

Edit: Now as I'm realizing it, 4-pin molex would be too thick to even fit into 5-pin connector.
I will be needing something like this size, thinner version of molex kind of:

That confused me even more, which combination of cables I should use for this setup, please? Thanks.

those plugs on the psu arent molex, they are proprietary corsair plugs for the PSU's cables that terminate in different connections (e.g. sata, molex and maybe a floppy). the 520 has a bunch of sata.
where are the psu's cables?

The PSU should have 4 X SATA power plugs. Just find the cable that came with the PSU with 5 pin that has SATA connectors. That molex to sata will not work in the 5 pins.

You should have all these modular connectors that work in the 5 pins.

Oh, thanks, I got it all wrong then . In that case I have 4-pin molex leading from PSU, this one:

It should have? Well, basically it has some, but only 1x 7-pin sata and 15-pin sata I didn't find looking thru my cables. I guess I will must go with adapter then

No guys, I got it all wrong, I didn't know sizes of 15-pin sata and 7-pin sata. I found more cables and after all, I found 15-sata, so that's great . Now what I need is data cable 7-pin to connect it to my MOBO, right?

By the way, thank you for guiding me to right direction, I think I fully understand it now. Just had it all messed up

You need a sata cable , plug it into the dvd drive and other end into an empty sata port on the mobo.

Yup if you used them all then get one of the Molex wires and use the adaptor. Should work fine.
