4 Pin Y Splitter

Im about to try to hook 2 AF140's on a 4 Pin y Splitter i know it wont be able to control RPM because its a 3pin header fan, my question is if i connect the 4 pin header to my motherboard would i be able to control the 2 AF140's? thru software like SIV on gigabyte? or Asus fan expert? need some expert advice. THANKS!

Your system will only see one fan, and if you manually change its speed, it will take effect on both fans
