[SOLVED] 4 primary partition limit problems with Catalina's new

Hi, how are you? The new Catalina partition scheme splits hard drive from one partion to two; 1 system partition and 1 data partition. The probelm is that it also does this on external drives. So if the external has been spit into 3 partitions, Catalina splits it into 6. I believe the limit is 4 primary partions. I am now having problems accessing the original partitions that only contained data. Any ideas?

If the drive is initialized as GPT instead of MBR, it can have much more than 4+3 partitions.
