Hello,i have an issue with my rams

CPU AMD RYZEN 3400G
MOTHERBOARD ASUS PRIME B450M-A
BIOS 1804
MEMORY XyperX 3200Mhz(4x4) HX432C16FB3K2

When i had 2x4,on XMP worked well as 3200,but today that i putted another 2x4 (total 4x4) i can't OC them to 3200 with XMP...my pc can't boot and i have to make changes on BIOS,to let them on auto without XMP profile,so they can run at 2400...can i OC them with another ways or it is just it?
My pc runs ok with 2400Mhz ram

Thank you for your replies

There is always more incompatibility with 4 sticks than 2 as it puts more strain on the CPU memory controller. Your best bet is returning the new set, selling the old and buying a 2x8 set. Best option for making it work with 4 is more voltage. Try 1.4, 1.45 up to 1.5 MAX for dram.

The Ryzen 5 3400G is a refresh of the 2400G, which means it has the same limitations. When running a dual rank configuration like 4x4GB or 4x8GB, the maximum speed you can get is usually 2933/3000. Your modules should have a second profile for 3000MT/s when setting XMP. If the second profile does not work, you will have to manually set speed to 2933/3000, 1.35v with 16-18-18-36 "primary" timings. You might be able to use tighter timings at 14-16-16-34. There some memory modules that can reach 3200Mhz in 4x4/8GB and still be stable with 0 errors, but they are more expensive and require a lot of manual tweaking.
