4 sticks/2 different sets/different timing/same speeds

Gskill 9 9 9 24 8gb x 2 = 16gb
corsair 10 10 10 27 8gbx 2 = 16gb

I have a dual channel motherboard that supports 4 slots.

How should I install my rams?

Right now I currently have it running d1/d3 = gskill d2/d4 = corsair. It seems to be working just fine, but is there a recommended way to install these corrently?

If it runs fine i wouldnt play around it.
My UD3R (775), ran 2x2 and 2x1GB ram without issue in long term.
Usually motherboard automatically sets ram timings.
And yes its installed correctly, they are colored for a reason.

It's not ideal because you will lose speed on the fast RAM stick. But it will work completely fine. Just make sure they're both set to the same speed and same timing (which would be the lower of the two).
