4 tb not being found in win 7

I have been reading where 4 tb drives are not being recognized in win 7. I have gone to computer management and it does not see them . Here is the problem. One of the 4 tb drives is nearly full with my movies, etc. One of the drives is formatted (with all my movies) the other drive has not been formatted yet. I remember when I formatted the 4tb drive I used no partitions. I put all my data on the drive and the computer I took the drive out of saw it and I used it for streaming my movies. Is there a setting in bios that sets the drives to be seen? I would just be crushed if something happened to that drive since it was fully functional in the other computer.

Thank you for your help. I found out that it was a partition unallicated issue. I used a partition recovery program. I was able to recover all 12,487 files in good working order.
