Hello, guys. Okay, first I'd like to start off by saying this is not a troll, so please do not assume so- I am just confused on the matter. Anyways, I'm currently running 2-way SLI with GTX Titan X graphics cards and recently my old PayPal account's money was withdrawn to my bank (it was frozen for 180 days) and I have around $2,900 to spend on whatever hardware or computer stuff. I REALLY want to get two more GTX Titan X's so I can kick some butt when I'm gaming.

My current specs:
Intel Core i7 5960X OC'd @ 4.2Ghz (Water-Cooled) processor
Asus X99-E WS motherboard
128GB DDR4 Corsair Dominator 3200Mhz memory
4x Corsair Neutron 256GB SSD (RAID) hard drive
2x EVGA GTX Titan X graphics cards
Coolmax 1600 Watt power supply

Monitor:
Samsung 29' Curved 2560x1080 Resolution monitor

Basically my question is: Am I going to even notice a significant difference in performance? I play games like Fallout 3 / NV, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Warface, Advanced Warfare, and Rainbow Six: Siege. Sometimes my framerate will drop significantly when I have everything on maximum including AA, AO, and all the other fancy stuff. I want to either keep my 2x GTX Titan X graphics cards or have four. I won't have three and honestly the reason is because I don't want people to say, "Wow, he has 3x GTX Titan X's- what a cheapo, he couldn't have the fourth." But that is besides the point. My friend is telling me that having a fourth GTX Titan X will actually decrease performance sometimes and he even showed me some online benchmarks. All in all, if you had the extra cash to throw at it would you do it? Thanks.

The reason why you're getting performance issues probably has to do with the SLI... I seriously doubt adding another card is going to help much. Save your money, your computer is already VERY VERY powerful. Infact probably just about the best consumer gaming pc available right now.
Adding more titans will also create massive heat issues. Think about the four titans piled on top of eachother, constanly blasting hot air. Cooling 4 of those would be a nightmare.
How about take the money you have, and spend it on a 4k monitor instead? You have a system capable at playing games at a higher resolution, something which most people simply can't afford.
Or you could save the money, donate it to a charity, or spend it on just about anything else...
I thought 1x titan would be just about enough to max 2560x1080
2 would be plenty, 4 would see diminishing returns for sure.

According to the benchmarks... a single titan will run GTA V @ 2560x1440 (higher rez than you have) at just under 60fps at max settings.

Thats what I thought too, but this guy actually has a titan X. LOL

I would spend some money on a 4k monitor, before going to a 4 way sli.

BTW, the titan X in 3 way sli is no cheapo.

It's human nature to want more than you already have but cmon man, you really don't need 3 or 4... I think people will be impressed enough with the fact that you have 2 (even 1 would be impressive) titan x's
