Question 4 x 4 GB Gskill F3-2400C10Q-16GTX but can only get 3 to work!

New (old) setup but I can't seem to get 4x 4GB F3-2400C10Q-16GTX Gskill to work on my Asus extreme 4 with a i4670 proc. I can get 3 in on 2400 mhz but what combination I try 3 Dimms is the max. It just boots without image and keeps rebooting.
The dimms are from the same birthplace, same mother so no funny mashups.

Anyone?

Did you buy these as a matches set?

Try each stick individually, in each slot. (yes, this will take time)
That might lead to if it is a particular sticlk, or a particular slot, or a combination of THIS stick in THAT slot.

I would install 3 and run Memtest86 and make sure there are No errors.
Then remove one and install the other RAM stick and test again to be sure that all the sticks are good.
If you get any errors then at least 1 stick is bad and you will need to test them one at a time until you figure out which stick is bad.

If they are all good that means it is a MB Issue, either you have a bad RAM Slot Or your Memory Controller can't handle all 4 sticks at once.

Thanks and I know how to go through time consuming excluding dimms ...I was hoping for a : dumb*ss, you can't do this or that!

It was the psu. And to most who have this issue: invest in your psu. I bought this whatyamight call it 750w for 40 bucks but a coolermaster of 650 fixed the problem.
