Hi there, I'm looking for a 40 to 50 inch 4K Smart TV with DisplayPort built in, designed for PC Gaming with a GEFORCE® GTX 1080 GAMING Z 8G and I was wondering if I could get a recommendation? I am looking to pull maximum smooth FPS but I've been out of the displays market for a while. Anything that you may be able to suggest would be sincerely appreciated :)

also,

this is the one I was looking at:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN49KS8000-49-Inch-Ultra-Smart/dp/B01D98AQ30/ref=sr_1_4?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1478798745&sr=1-4&keywords=50+%22+4K+TV&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_three_browse-bin%3A7688788011%2Cp_n_size_browse-bin%3A1232882011%2Cp_n_condition-type%3A2224371011

good or bad?

None of the 2016 4K TV have DP input. I think the last 4K with DP in was a panasonic couple years ago before they quit the TV business so you're pretty much limited to HDMI 2.0 and 60Hz. Other than that. The KS8000 is one of the best you can pick. I would go with the KS8500 curved if your viewing distance is under 4 feet since it's a VA panel and you might get some minor color shift toward the very edge at short viewing distance.

Ok sweet. I guess I'm just looking for the best gaming monitor that I can buy within the 40" range. I've had a 20-something inch before at 120 FPS which looked great! But it was only 20-something inches and it would be nice to have something larger. :)
