[SOLVED] 400€ PC Upgrade

Hello, I'm looking to buy some upgrades for my PC by the end of this month, and I'm not sure what to look out for. I've noticed that my computer generally has a lot less performance than I'd like.


My current system is this:

Pentium G4560

2x 8GB Corsair RAM (2133Mhz)

Corsair CX 450 Watt PSU

GTX 1050 Ti

MSI B250 Motherboard



My most played games currently are League of Legends, CS:GO, Final Fantasy XIV, but I do generally play sometimes more demanding titles like the Witcher 3, I was aiming to change my platform to a Ryzen 5 1600 and get an RX 570 while I'm at it, but seeing how Ryzens benefit from faster RAM made me rethink my choice, any suggestions?

Probably the best upgrade (short of a new system) would be replacing your processor with an Intel Core I5/I7 7th Gen, What is your upgrade budget and what is the exact model number of your motherboard?

what is the exact model number of your motherboard?

The box says it's a B250M PRO-VD

The i5 7400 in my area costs about 182€ and the i5 7600 costs about 250€
i7s start from 300€

Personally, with your 400€ budget, I'd drop in an Intel Core I7-7700 and call it a day.
