I am using mostly ebuyer links for reference but feel free to shop around. The CPU I am selecting will not overclock, but will be plenty fast. the money saved can be used on the video card which will make more of a difference in gaming. You can upgrade to a higher powered an overclockable CPU later, including the new Intels.

CPU - £90.18 - http://www.ebuyer.com/254976-intel-core-i3-2100-3-10ghz-socket-1155-3mb-l3-cache-retail-boxed-bx80623i32100

Motherboard - £72.59 - http://www.ebuyer.com/284388-gigabyte-ga-z68p-ds3-z68-socket-1155-8-channel-audio-atx-motherboard-ga-z68p-ds3

ram - £30.90 -http://www.ebuyer.com/248449-kingston-8gb-2x4gb-ddr3-1333mhz-hyperx-blu-memory-kit-cl9-1-5v-khx1333c9d3b1k2-8g

Hard drive - £65.99 - http://www.ebuyer.com/241715-wd-500gb-3-5-sata-6gb-s-caviar-blue-hard-drive-7200rpm-16mb-wd5000aakx

graphics - £167.47 - http://www.ebuyer.com/271108-exdisplay-asus-gtx-560ti-directcu-ii-1gb-gddr5-dual-dvi-mini-hdm-ebr1-engtx560-ti-dcii-2di-1gd5

case - I just picked a decent one. You may have other ideas about this. Just make sure you get at least a mid tower with good air flow. Preferably with a front and rear 120mm fan. - £29.99 - http://www.ebuyer.com/172779-casecom-6788-all-black-case-km-6788-black

Extra case fan - £12.08 - http://www.ebuyer.com/82253-antec-tricool-120mm-dbb-case-fan-761345-75121-6

Power supply - This one will not do dual card SLi, which I do not recommend anyway, so you would need to upgrade in case you added a second card. By then though, you will likely be able to get a more powerful single card. - £42.98 - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/powersupplies/nov-psg500.html

DVD RW Drive - £11.98 - http://www.ebuyer.com/268621-samsung-sh-222ab-22x-dvd-rw-dl-ram-sata-optical-drive-oem-sh-222ab-bebe

Total = £524.16

Monitor, keyboard, mouse is more of a personal preference thing. I can tell you that you should be fine with anything up to a 23" 1920x1080 monitor. As for keyboard and mouse, I would avoid wireless for gaming unless you like stutter and changing batteries often. You can go cheap or expensive depending on your tastes. My mouse(iHome) was $15 US and compact keyboard(A4Tech) was $20. Not name brands, but they work very well. When at the store, you might look at this set. I passed as the keyboard was not compact, but it was still a very decent set. http://www.ebuyer.com/255302-microsoft-wired-desktop-400-keyboard-and-mouse-for-business-usb-5mh-00002

For monitor, all come with pretty much the same warranty. One that I particularly like, and may eventually get when the price is right, is this HP. http://www.ebuyer.com/269937-hp-2311x-led-lcd-full-hd-23-hdmi-monitor-lv176aa-abu Outstanding image quality. Right now though, my old Samsung 19" widescreen is still working for me. It was somewhat high end when I got it, and the picture is still decent.

What is best for all 3 is to go to a real store and try them out. The ones you like that fit your budget are the ones you buy. You can always search online for better prices.
