Before I buy, looking for suggestions for new system. Currently using a 2013 AMD A6-5400 with 4 gb Crucial DDR memory on a Bio-Star A* 5S3 micro ATX motherboard, 500 GB WD SATA hard drive and Intel PCI network adapter, Antec 450 power supply.
Approaching HD capacity, so looking for new system.
Win 10 PC is used exclusively for e-mail, internet, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Quicken, Quickbooks Zoom and watching live stream legislative activity. Dual monitors. Old system "works" but takes forever to boot and switch programs, espceially Quicken/Quickbooks because of their size. Reliability more important than speed and need increased HHD storage.
Thanks for your help.

I don't think you need a new system. I'd say the slow downs you're experiencing are due to the limited amount of RAM you have installed and, to a lesser extent, limited available hard drive space. I'd probably just look at adding new RAM (2x4GB or 2x8GB) to replace what you currently have. I'd also just add a hard drive (or SSD) to your current system for more storage space.

It appears that your motherboard accepts DDR3 RAM. I'd probably go with something like this:

For storage space, I'd probably look at something like this:

These updates should resolve your issues without...
