So it's time to build myself a desktop... Here we go!
My budget for this is a flat $400 for a gaming oriented desktop build. The operating system and peripherals are already taken care of so I only need the parts and a box to put them in. My hard drive needs to be 500 gigabytes and having a larger one is a much lower priority than a better graphics card for example (HDD speed does not matter). I'd prefer 4 gigs of RAM (AT THE VERY LEAST) and the graphics card shouldn't be under $100 (I've seen the performance differences between an $80 and $100 card). The CPU should hopefully be a quad-core or a (VERY) good intel dual-core. I am not planning on overclocking.
I have no preferences when it comes to the manufacturer of parts.
