400 to 533 fsb on air cooling?

What are my chances of overclocking a P4 2.4 at 400 fsb to a 3.19 at 533. I'm currently using a GA-8IHXP (850E Chipset) with 512 MB of 1066 RDRAM. I would add a Swiftech MCX4000 hsf for extra cooling, but I don't want to water cool just yet. If I can't hit 533, I don't think my RAM will run at 1066. What do you think?

small chance if any, as you'll be severly limited by that chip's maximum. i got my 2.4a to post at 2.904 once,( with the door open, in minus 20c temps. outside; system was at 15c in my house!!!; tough on the family, though). if you had the 533 version and the 18x you'd have a much better shot. just my opinion, anyway...........if you do get it to run that high, please post with all details......thx!!!!!

and, we also tried the pin trick---to change the bus from 400 to a 533; with no luck; it's just too much to expect from this chip!!

Not on air. And even on watter, I'd expect the thing to need 1.80v or higher voltage, which puts it in the CPU sudden death voltage range.
