well, i have a 400 watt psu from dynex which has 29a 12v rail.

my current system is a gtx 560 evga non ti
amd 555 phenom x2
asus M4A785-M motherboard
4gb corsair ram
1 150 gb hdd
1 cd rom drive
and a small case fan in the back.

do you think i am overworking my psu?

Solution

You should switch as soon as possible, luckily for you the 560 uses 24amps and you have 29 :D
Well dynex...rocketfish etc. All owned by bestbuy, they all suck. I had a rocketfish 700w psu and it blew out my hard drive in my hackintosh. Right now if the system is working, don't touch it. If possible get rid of it and switch to corsair, seasonic, xfx, or antec.

It is currently working right now, ive been playing metro 2033 on maximum settings and i dont seem to have a problem.. if i start encountering shut downs, blue screens, is it a sign to switch?
