4000$ Workstation Build Advice

Hi guys I am totally new in this Area , I have Dell Precision M4800 with quadro and i7 4930mx which is my very first laptop and I am planning to build a Workstation with budget of 4000$.
I would like to ask if any of you have a suggestion about the specifications, I will mostly use it for 3D modelling,Simulation , and Rendering .
all I know is Quadro cards are Workstation GPU's and what do you think if I combine Quadro and GTX.
Which Processors you guys think will fit the budget and Xeon or i7?
lets say I that I will use i7 5960x how good is it and how it will perform compared to high end xeon processor..

The i7 series typically has a higher clock rate than the Xeons but otherwise they use the same 'core' as long as they are from the same generation.
The Xeon is available with more core though you pay through the nose for them. LoL
And the (2011-3) i7's are overclockable
You will need to research your software to see if they work with a fixed number of cores. If not then a xeon may be better for you.

I will be using Rhinoceros , Maya , Revit ,3ds max , Photoshop.
I have done some research that most of them don't use multicore processing but I think they are developing multicore processing.A big Question For me is GTX VS Quadro cards
Quadro Cards Are much more expensive compared to GTX but Quadro has lower specs.
can someone explains it?
if I have to buy quadro why should I?
