Hi there i have a problem with my hard drive.I have ran WinDirStat and it says my c: drive has used 365,8gb and when i check my computer i have 226gb free of 931gb so 365+226=519gb

Where the is the remaining 400+gb?

Hi there Enki12,

You should go to Disk Management, and see whether you have unallocated free space. If so, right click on it and allocate it. Keep in mind that the unallocated space should be on the right and next to the partition you want to expand. If it is on the left, you will need to use to use some third party partition manager tool.

Hope this will help,

Hi i am not seeing any unallocated disk space all the space is in blue in disk management none in black (which is unallocated free space)

So, what are the partitions over there?(Do they add up to 900 something GB)
Also, you can go to BIOS and see whether the full capacity is recognized over there. If it is not, there may be something wrong with the HDD itself. If it shows the correct size, then you can back up your data and reformat the drive.
It may be a good idea to run a malware scan as well.

Cheers,
